The Indian National Congress (INC) won 99 seats, its best showing in a decade, securing the constitutional role of Leader of the Opposition.

Women make up just 74 of 543 MPs (13.6%), slightly down from 78 in 2019. The average age is 57.6 years, with the youngest MP aged 27 and the oldest at 82. 140 MPs listed agriculture as their primary occupation, followed by businesspersons (78) and social workers (53).
